VOLUNTEER FOR THE BACK TO THE FIFTIES FESTIVAL, INC
 
The 2024 Back to the Fifties Festival will take place on Saturday September 13. There are openings for volunteers to help make this year’s event an even bigger success. Most commitments to the Festival involve attending meetings and helping with planning throughout the year, however there are opportunities for those who can only volunteer on the festival weekend. Volunteers are encouraged to remain involved for more than one year. Interviews will be held for each open position.
 

Car Show
  • T-Shirt Sales - Volunteer needed to sell T-shirts and help provide information to car show participants. This position is active from the time cars arrive early Saturday morning until the end of the car show Saturday afternoon. Should be a “Go Getter” who is personable and enjoys working with the public.
  • Registration assistance - needs to be a "detail" person
  • Car Show scoring 
  • ​Parking Crew
Exhibitor Coordinator
  •  A dedicated volunteer is needed to help select and coordinate exhibitors each year for the festival. .
Parking Attendants
  • Adult volunteers and Lead are needed on Friday evening and all day Saturday to direct automobile traffic in the parking areas.  Groups are welcome.
Volunteer Coordinator
  • During the festival weekend, we rely on volunteers who are willing to give one hour or more of their time. There are various areas in which this assistance is needed, therefore we are adding a Volunteer Coordinator position to develop schedules and manage these volunteers during the event. This individual will work closely with festival leadership to ensure that all areas are adequately covered.   
Miscellaneous Volunteers for the Festival Weekend
  • If you’d like to be a part of the Back to the Fifties Festival, but cannot make a large time commitment, there are many positions available during the Festival weekend that involve working a shift of one hour or more. Please let us know your availability and we will work to accommodate your schedule.
